Nothing special

I am a Spanish professor and my department needs us to show from this text. I notice the text's content to be quite grammar significant and not participating. The presentation of vocabulary seems random occasionallyn|every now and then} and the exercises are uninteresting and not associated with the chapter's content. have you ever noticed that days of the week and months of the year are introduced in Chapters four and 5? Even within the eighth edition! Why are not they introduced with classes?

It needs an incredible quantity of effort to truly interact students within the content. The text isn't terribly communicative nor will it embody a lot of detail regarding cultural distinction. I even have found that this book promotes less fluency than others (namely Dos mundos or Vistas). I even have taught from many Spanish texts and this one is one in every of all-time low on my list. McGraw-Hill hasn't done such a good job maintaining with technology or freshness of content. The approach I see it, this text was helpful and maybe even cutting-edge when its initial edition came visiting. sadly the text hasn't evolved since. In all, the book is dated and desires some serious revising or must be phased out utterly.
